Sonja in black is the darker half of the pair. The body is worked in genuine rex rabbit fur, banded light to dark across each horizontal channel so the silver-grey shifts as it catches the light. Rex is the shortest and densest of the furs: it reads as velvet rather than pelt, and it holds warmth without weight.

Black knitted wool sleeves ground the piece and let the fur carry the look, finished with a stand collar and a single clean zip. At hip length, Sonja layers over a dress as readily as over denim, and asks nothing of the occasion.
