Fox Fur

Everything you need to know about our real fur

Fox Fur

A spectacular, voluminous, and expressive fur.

Defined by its long, silky guard hairs, fox fur is known for its volume, softness, and natural movement. Its density, light weight, and ability to reflect light make it a striking material, deeply rooted in the world of luxury.

We work exclusively with foxes carefully selected for the quality of their skins and fur. Breeding farms are mainly located in Finland and Scandinavia, following the same trusted channels and strict traceability standards as mink.

The most common varieties

Blue Fox
The most widely farmed variety. Its naturally dark base makes it ideal for deep and rich colors. The fur is dense, fairly short, and evenly layered. With lighter shades, the darker guard hairs remain visible, creating a natural contrast.

Shadow Fox
A rare farmed variety with long white fur marked by grey or black tones. It may also appear fully white. Its very light base makes it well suited for soft, pastel colors. Due to limited availability, it is reserved for the most exclusive pieces.

Silver Fox
A farmed variety with long, full fur in shades ranging from light grey to deep black. A naturally darker stripe along the back gives structure and depth to the silhouette.

Red Fox
Native to Nordic regions, mainly Finland, this variety is known for its natural copper color and warm, authentic appearance.

Grey Fox
A wild species native to the United States and South America. Its fur has shorter, flatter hairs, grey at the center with warm orange tones along the sides. Often used as lining, it has a strong and distinctive character.

The Argentine Grey Fox is subject to CITES regulations.

Hybrid varieties & notable crossbreeds

Blue Frost
A cross between Blue Fox (body) and Silver Fox (neck), with shorter hairs and a grey base that dyes easily.

Arctic Marble
White fox with long hairs naturally marbled in grey or black.

Arctic Marble Frost
Similar to Arctic Marble, but with shorter hairs and a softer, more matte finish.

There is a wide range of crossbreeds, each bringing its own visual character to a creation.

Care & Use

Properties & Use
Fox pelts are generous, voluminous, and richly dense. They are used both for statement pieces and refined details such as collars, hoods, trims, linings, or full fur garments.

Fox fur can be dyed in a wide range of colors, worked tone-on-tone or in contrast, to highlight movement and light.

Care & Preservation
Due to its volume and long hairs, fox fur requires special care to preserve its shape, shine, and softness over time:

Avoid prolonged exposure to direct light (sun or spotlights), which may change the color.

Protect your fur from moisture. If it becomes wet, gently shake it and let it dry naturally in open air, away from any heat source. Never use a hair dryer or radiator.

Store on a wide hanger, inside a breathable fabric cover. Avoid plastic covers.

Never compress fox fur in a tight space—its natural volume needs room.

Avoid contact with perfumes, sprays, or cosmetics.

Occasionally smooth the fur gently by hand or let it air in a cool room.

Once a year, entrust your piece to a specialist for professional cleaning and reshaping.

Care Ensures Longevity
Well-cared-for fox fur keeps its beauty for many years, developing character over time.

It is a living, precious material—meant to be respected, cared for, and enjoyed for generations.
